Itinerary with little vegetation, best indicated for spring and fall. Beautiful view over Terre di Pedemonte up to Locarno. At Streccia a trail branches off towards Dunzio and the Maggia Valley. Very interesting view upon arrival at Colma Cappella (Colma chapel). On the Forcola, a branch leads to the ruins of Castelliere, an archaeological point of interest. Possibility to shorten the hike descending to Cavigliano, Verscio or Tegna. Close to Ponte Brolla lies the “orrido” (gorge) with its “marmitte dei giganti” (potholes of the giants).
