6) (Verdasio Stazione) Rasa – Terra Vecchia - Bordei – Palagnedra (3 Ore)
After an essential stop at Rasa, with possibility to visit Mr. Giovannacci’s collection of old weapons and rural tools, testimony of past times (upon appointment calling 091 798 12 92), an outstanding view over all of Centovalli can be enjoyed. Descending briefly to the crossroad with a signpost, it is possible to follow the level trail to Progia or to continue to Terra Vecchia (ancient Rasa, now under reconstruction). Choosing this second possibility you’ll descend first to a small creek, to go up again for a few minutes to Bordei. A visit to this village is more than justified, as it has been completely reconstructed within the last 30 years. The continuation of the trail is situated just at the end of the agricultural street above the village and leads to Palagnedra, also known for some valuable patrician houses and the frescos by “Antonio da Tradate” (XV century) to be admired in the oratory of St. Michele. The itinerary may be continued towards Moneto, or terminated by descending to the railway station of Palagnedra.
